Tips

**Choose High-Quality Nuts**
1. Freshness : Use fresh, high-quality nuts for the best flavor. Check for rancidity, especially with walnuts and pecans.
2. Roasting : Lightly roast the nuts before incorporating them into the torte. This enhances their flavor and adds a delightful crunch.

**Bake Evenly**
1. Preheat the Oven : Always preheat your oven to ensure even baking.
2. Use the Right Pan : A springform pan is ideal for tortes, as it allows for easy removal. Ensure it is well-greased and lined with parchment paper.
3. Check for Doneness : Insert a toothpick into the center; it should come out clean or with a few moist crumbs when the torte is done.

**Cool and Release**
1. Cool in the Pan : Let the torte cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. This helps set the structure.
2. Parchment Paper : Lining the bottom of the pan with parchment paper will help prevent sticking and make for easier removal.

**Prepare a Rich Filling or Frosting**
1. Nut Cream or Ganache : Consider a rich cream filling made from whipped cream and finely ground nuts or a chocolate ganache to complement the nutty flavors.
2. Layering : If making a layered torte, ensure each layer has a generous spread of filling to enhance moisture and flavor.
