Bob's Red Mill Spelt Flour is stone ground from whole grain spelt, an ancient grain related to modern wheat. It has a mild, nutty and slightly sweet flavor that works well in breads, cookies, muffins, waffles, pancakes, and other baked goods. The flour can be used in many recipes that call for all-purpose or whole wheat flour. It is also suitable for homemade pasta and other baking applications where spelt flour is desired.

How to Use:

Use Spelt Flour according to your recipe. For baking, start by replacing about 25% of the wheat flour with spelt flour; many recipes can use up to 50% spelt flour.
